This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Nutty Audiobooks ("we", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes the information we collect when you use our website and services (the "Service"), how we use it, and the controls available to you. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.
Membership payments are handled by third-party providers such as Ko-fi or Patreon. We do not store your full payment-card details on our servers. Those providers process your payment information under their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review.
We rely on trusted third parties to operate the Service, including hosting, database, content delivery, and analytics providers. These providers may process your information on our behalf and only to the extent necessary to perform their services for us.
Your public profile (nutty-audiobooks.app/u/your-username) shows your display name, username, picture, banner, bio, colours, favourite books, badges and when you joined. It also lists the comments you have posted on books, which are public on those books' pages anyway; you can hide them from your profile in your account settings. Your listening activity (recent books, hours and streak) appears only if you turn it on. Profiles are hidden from search engines. Pictures you upload are re-saved as still images before they are stored, which removes location and camera data from photos.
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers as described above, when required by law or valid legal process, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or in connection with a business transfer such as a merger or acquisition.
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your account at any time.
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy, reach us through our contact page.
